Apyx describes itself as a stablecoin protocol that turns dividend-paying preferred shares issued by Digital Asset Treasury companies into digital dollars. Its products are apxUSD, a synthetic dollar backed by those shares, apyUSD, a savings wrapper that locks apxUSD to earn the dividend yield, and the APYX governance token. Its Pips campaign rewards users who hold or commit apxUSD or provide liquidity. CryptoRank lists the airdrop as confirmed with the reward date still to be announced, and the APYX token had not launched at the time of that source.
How to earn Pips
- Connect your wallet on the Apyx app.
- Swap USDC for apxUSD or apyUSD.
- Hold or commit apxUSD, or provide apxUSD/USDC liquidity on Curve, to earn Pips with higher multipliers for some actions.
Multipliers change over time and limited-time boosts have ended, so check the rewards page for the current rates.
Risks to know
Stablecoins can lose their peg, smart contracts can have bugs, and providing liquidity can cause losses. apxUSD is backed by off-chain preferred shares, so redemption and compliance steps may apply. Certora published a security review of apxUSD in March 2026 that reported 11 issues, one of high severity, which it says was fixed. An audit does not remove risk. Do not put in more than you can afford to lose.
